OpenLogic Extends Reach in Japan with Ashisuto Strategic Partnership
Japan's leading independent software distributor teams with OpenLogic
(Broomfield CO) - May 29, 2007 -- OpenLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise open source software solutions encompassing hundreds of open source packages, today announced a strategic partnership with K.K. Ashisuto, a leading IT services provider.

Under the agreement, OpenLogic will provide support to Ashisuto customers for hundreds of open source packages.
In a recent customer survey, Ashisuto learned that its largest customers in Japan were already using significant amounts of open source software. The survey indicated that many of the responding companies face issues with open source software such as support, ability to correct software errors, increased operational management tasks, technical training issues, and deciding how to avoid licensing violation risks.
