Leading Healthcare Provider Rolls Out New Patient Information Aggregation Solution, Delivers Streamlined Workflow to Clinicians

(Scottsdale AZ) - May 17, 2007 -- Carefx Corporation today announced that Trillium Health Centre (Trillium), one of Canada's leading healthcare providers, has gone live with Fusion from Carefx™, an aggregation platform designed to automate clinical workflow. Fusion seamlessly integrates patient information from diverse applications and databases at the user interface level, saving time and delivering relevant information to the appropriate user, at the right time and place. It reduces the time clinicians spend searching for the information they need to diagnose and treat their patients, while delivering overall increased IT efficiency.

The use of Fusion from Carefx™ is part Trillium's ambitious $100 million THINK Initiative aimed at redefining the entire care delivery process centered on the patient. Utilizing the latest innovations in healthcare technology including Fusion from Carefx to optimize care, Trillium has provided their care providers with an integrated means of accessing patient data residing in the Centre's state of the art Eclipsys Sunrise Clinical Manager, as well as the legacy Meditech applications, and other systems including AGFA PACS and GE MUSE. Trillium will continue to roll out the solution to over 2300 clinicians and medical record personnel who will have real-time access to critical patient data at every clinical workstation throughout the medical facility.
